LM CONSTRUCTION CO. COMPLETES TENANT IMPROVEMENTS ON SOUTHWEST RESTAURANT
Oyshi Sushi Modernizes All-You-Can-Eat Concept
LAS VEGAS, NV – LM Construction Co. announced today the company has finished tenant improvements on Oyshi Sushi, a new 4,160 square foot all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant located at 7775 W. Rainbow Boulevard, Suite #7.
According to David Sim, co-owner of Oyshi Sushi, the concept for the restaurant was to offer the quality of a-la-carte sushi dining with the value of an all-you-can eat sushi bar. This quality extends from the plating and presentation of the food to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.
“The owners wanted to create a hip, modern environment for their patrons,” said Mike Kessler, tenant improvement manager with LM Construction. “This was accomplished through the selection of appropriate counter-top, wall and flooring finishes as well as through the design for the flow of the restaurant which creates several different dining and conversation areas.”
Design elements include a treated concrete floor and exposed, black duct work. Sim also incorporated a mural of a traditional Japanese scene by local Las Vegas spray-can artist, DJ Jester, into the interior design.
LM Construction was selected for the project due to the company’s longevity in Las Vegas and excellent reputation. LM Construction acted as architect and contractor on the project.
Oyshi Sushi is run by husband and wife team David Sim and Heesoo Hwang, both graduates of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. They met in college while Sim was attending classes in hotel administration and Huang in culinary arts management. This is the couple’s first restaurant.
The total cost for the project was $369,991.00.
