LM CONSTRUCTION COMPANY COMPLETES 22-ACRE PROJECT FOR GES EXPOSITION SERVICES

LAS VEGAS, NV - LM Construction Company recently completed construction on a 22-acre marshalling yard located at Sunset and Las Vegas Boulevard. The new yard, built for Las Vegas-based GES Exposition Services, has the capacity to house over 600 diesel trucks and includes three truck weigh stations and three modular trailers.

"The convention industry continues to be a stronghold for Las Vegas' local economy," said Michael Carroll, general manager of LM Construction. "This new yard enables GES to consolidate and expand their truck marshalling facilities and serve the entire valley's convention business from one very strategic location."

Additional construction services included mass grading and paving with underground wet and dry utilities, site lighting, scale facilities and substantial offsite improvements.

The cost of the project was approximately $3.04 million.
